The Role
Warehouse Operations Manager
VUUDL Media Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, and team leadership. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure high levels of performance, productivity, and morale.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations, including inventory management, order processing, and quality control, to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and supply chain management, to coordinate order fulfillment, resolve issues, and meet customer delivery requirements.
Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and workflow processes to maximize space utilization, minimize congestion, and improve operational efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
Warehouse Operations Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or operations roles, with a proven track record of success in managing warehouse operations and leading teams.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Nice To Have
Warehouse Operations Manager
- Certification in warehouse management or logistics.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience working in a media, entertainment, or technology industry warehouse environment.
Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes and procedures.
