The Role
Sr. Product Manager, Private Label
VUUDL Media Group is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead our Private Label product line. As the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of our private label products, from conception to launch and beyond. This role requires a combination of strong product management skills, business acumen, and leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic planning and roadmap development for the Private Label product line, defining product vision, goals, and success metrics in alignment with business objectives.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights activities to identify market opportunities, consumer needs, and trends, informing product strategies and priorities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, design, marketing, sales, and operations, to drive the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch.
Define product requirements and specifications, create user stories and acceptance criteria, and prioritize features and enhancements based on customer value and business impact.
Manage the product backlog, sprint planning, and release cycles, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Work closely with design and development teams to translate product requirements into intuitive user experiences, user interfaces, and technical specifications.
Develop go-to-market strategies and launch plans for new products, coordinating with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to drive awareness, adoption, and success.
Basic Qualifications
Sr. Product Manager, Private Label
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in product management roles, with a focus on consumer products, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry.
Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Nice To Have
Sr. Product Manager, Private Label
- Experience working in private label or store brand management within the retail or consumer goods industry.
Familiarity with product development methodologies, agile practices, and product management tools.
Knowledge of retail and e-commerce trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
Experience with digital product development, including mobile apps, e-commerce platforms, and content management systems.
Certification in product management or related disciplines.
