The Role
Sr. Director of Social Media
Are you passionate about creating brand awareness and engagement through social media? This is a full-time remote role for a Sr. Director of Social Media at VUUDL Media Group. The Sr. Director of Social Media will be responsible for overseeing and implementing social media marketing strategies, managing communication and public relations efforts, and developing content strategies. They will also be responsible for optimizing social media channels and leveraging social media optimization (SMO) techniques for all our brands we launch for our clients. In this role, you'll be working on building brands across many different categories while managing a team of content strategists.
Basic Qualifications
Sr. Director of Social Media
- 8+ Years of experience with a social media marketing agency, brand consultant, or related role
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven track record of success in developing and executing social media strategies for consumer brands, ideally within the media or entertainment industry.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and optimize performance.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for visual content.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and strategically about complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including influencers, partners, and industry contacts.
Knowledge of legal and regulatory considerations related to social media marketing, including FTC guidelines, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.
Nice To Have

- Previous experience CRM software including Salesforce, Monday.com, Zoho
Experience working in the media or entertainment industry, with a strong understanding of audience preferences and content trends.
Advanced degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
Certification in social media marketing or related disciplines.
Proficiency in additional languages, particularly those relevant to our target audience demographics.
Experience managing crisis communication and reputation management on social media platforms.
Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in social media marketing, such as AR/VR, live streaming, and influencer marketing.
