The Role
Senior Manager, Supply Chain
VUUDL Media Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager to lead our Supply Chain operations. As the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor relations. This role requires a combination of strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic planning and execution of supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, distribution, and logistics.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies and initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels across the organization.
Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and management processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, quality standards, and cost targets.
Manage relationships with key suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers, fostering collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and KPIs for supply chain operations, tracking performance against goals and objectives, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Develop and maintain inventory management policies, procedures, and systems to ensure accurate inventory tracking, optimization, and control.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, marketing, and finance, to forecast demand, plan production schedules, and optimize inventory levels.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the supply chain, leveraging technology, automation, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to supply chain management, including safety, environmental, and ethical standards.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the supply chain team, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
Basic Qualifications
Senior Manager, Supply Chain
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in supply chain management or related roles, with a proven track record of success in managing supply chain operations and leading teams.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Nice To Have
Senior Manager, Supply Chain
- Certification in supply chain management or related disciplines.
Experience working in the media, entertainment, or technology industry.
Familiarity with supply chain management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and inventory management tools.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
Experience with international supply chain management, including import/export regulations, customs compliance, and global logistics.
